      My work will help other astronomers locate planets in binary systems (binary stars are very very common). That might help us find planets to live on in the future, should we develop light-speed travel.

      In the short term, our simulations push technology to the max, and force the improvement of computers – which are in turn used by other scientists trying to find cures for diseases like ebola, cancer and heart disease etc.
