• Question: Did the chicken or the egg come first?

      Well, at some point in history there was creature that was the First Chicken. That creature’s parents were not chickens, they were whatever the chicken evolved from. The First Chicken must have hatched from an egg. Therefore the egg came first!

      I completely agree with Rob. At some point there was an animal, like a chicken but wasn’t a chicken. It laid an egg, and due to evolution, what hatched was and is classed as a chicken as we know it today. Therefore, the egg must have come first.

      Egg came first. Chicken egg came before Chicken, as rob said.
