• Question: What's the best earthquake you've studied?

      I worked on a small earthquake in the central United States (Wyoming). Small is good – they don’t do much damage – and this one was really interesting. It turned out to be one of the deepest continental earthquakes we’ve ever seen. I particularly like this one, because I got to name it – the Wind River earthquake (its beneath a place called Wind River).
