      I answered something similar to another question – but perhaps. I think there is evidence to support the multiverse theory, but perhaps not on the same level as we once thought. Before he died, Stephen Hawking published a paper in which he suggests that although the multiverse theory is still possible, the potential number of universes out there is less than we initially thought. I think we still need a lot more research before we can be confident either way.

      To be honest, I find the theories a bit of a desperate attempt to fit things together, when we don’t understand what is truly going on – but this is science at its best, very controversial
