Question: is there such thing as a megaldon

There was, a long time ago. They grew to 18m long (a big great white shark is about 3.5-5m on average for comparison). Although we still haven’t explored a huge amount of the ocean, it is very unlikely that a megalodon would go unnoticed for such a long time. We think they went extinct about 2.6 million years ago, partly due to competition for food and habitat from other large predators.
