• Question: If an earthquake was seen in the earths atmosphere and it showed to be strong enough to end humanity. How would you deal with it and?

      Short answer: I wouldn’t. Unfortunately, we can’t ‘deal’ with earthquakes – we can’t stop them from happening, and we can’t halt them once they’ve started. The best we can do is try to understand where, when and how they happen, and then plan accordingly, so that when they do happen the effects are not as bad as they might be.

      Also – earthquakes don’t occur in the atmosphere. They’re confined to what we call the ‘solid Earth’ – which is the parts made up of various forms of rock. You can also get similar things occurring in ice when ice breaks apart (“ice-quakes”), but you can’t get such things in materials that aren’t solid. So, on the plus side, we’re all safe from ‘quakes in the atmosphere!
