Question: Have you ever developed a new scientific equipment and if you win some money would it go to making and experimenting a new piece of equipment?

Hi, I haven’t made a new piece if equipment, but a technicians job does involve finding new ways of answering technical challenges – so I may adapt an existing equipment ,or maybe change a method to include a new chemical, or change it to make a solution less ‘sticky ‘ ( polar) to increase efficiency for example, or to separate out more impurities, so I’m not inventing new things, but refining the ideas of others.
I want to introduce more people into the laboratory, so I plan on using the prize money to develop day trips to the labs to learn new scientific skills for schools
