Question: whaqt is your favorate thing about dead stars?

My favourite thing about white dwarfs is that they tell us so much about the universe! When we split their light up into parts we can see what space is made up of between us as the white dwarf, as well as finding out the temperature and gravity of the star!

We can also use them to measure how long stars live. Most of my work has been on working out what mass stars become white dwarfs, and how long it takes for a star to run out of fuel and become a white dwarf.
