Yes — in about 5 billion years from now, the Sun will run out of fuel, and as a consequence it will expand and become a huge star, called Red Giant. When that happens, the Earth will be eaten up by a wall of fire as the Sun grows bigger than the size of the orbit of the Earth.

Even later, the Milky Way (our galaxy) will collide with our neighbouring galaxy (Andromeda), and the two will merge. Everything will eventually be eaten up by the supermassive black hole at the centre of our Galaxy. Even later, all stars will die, and the Universe will become empty of light and life, completetely dark an totally empty.

But that’s not for tomorrow – it’ll take 200 billion yrs for this to happen.
