Quick answer is I don’t 🙁
However, back in March I went to a big science fair (https://www.thebigbangfair.co.uk/) as a volunteer with the Society for Radiological Protection, and as well as helping with some cool experiments I also took lots of photos, some of which ended up on the Society’s facebook page. And I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to a few places with work and I always find space to take my camera. There are a few photos on my profile from the Big Bang Fair and a visit to the Chernobyl area.
I’m looking into how to make plants grow better and one of the ways you might not think about is how big their roots are. So what I’ve been doing is growing plants on see-through plates in agar (see-through jelly).
Then I take pictures of these at different times to see how fast or big they are and measure them. I can also show these pictures to farmers to say that my plants grow better than theirs!
