So there was a lot of study; and by studying I mean reading lots and lots of psychology textbooks, but also lots of scientific reports. I had a brilliant time at Bangor university during my BSc, and I volunteered to work in different labs, where I learnt how to run and design experiments; analyse data; and communicate the results we found.
I was also very fortunate to go around a stroke ward with the consultant neurologist for north wales, who was also a professor at Bangor university. Here, I learnt how research actually helps people who are unlucky enough to have had a stroke.
