I really did enjoy physics and chemistry – I just found high school biology the most interesting at the time because I all I did every day was watch hour after hour or discovery channel programs when I got back from school. I love the natural world, and understanding how not only our own bodies work, but also other animals really interested me.
What I have come to learn, however, that while slightly different… Biology, physics and chemistry are essentially all the same thing.
Cell biology involves chemical interactions that obey the laws of physics – so rather than thinking of these as separate things – if encourage you to see the connections between them all..
I did enjoy physics at school, so much that I went on to study it at university. I didn’t like chemistry so much though, and I suspect this might have been down to the teachers involved – the physics teacher really inspired me and the chemistry teacher, unfortunately, didn’t.
