• Question: in the bible it said that god made us up from nothing why he was there from the beginning of time, then we evolved, do you believe that we were made from nothing?

      Hi there.

      I absolutely disagree that we were made from nothing. The bible story of the creation of life on earth is false and simply untrue. We did not come from nothing – we evolved from a shared common ancester with chimpanzees around 6/7 million years ago. Before that we evolved from other mammals, and before that lizards, amphibians and fish.

      If we go back to the start of the universe (the begnning of time as you rightly say) – there is a common misconception in that nothing existed before the big bang. This is completely untrue. EVERY single element and piece of matter existed in the singularity – so we definitely did not come from nothing. I hope this answers your question 🙂
