      Hi Kiera.

Good question… of course, we are a long way away from having the technology to do this, but if I could live on another planet and escape the Earth – I probably would after what happened in the USA the last few days…

I would have to say the most logical place would be Mars – but only if it was terra-formed (the environment is changed by humans) to allow life. There are theories that Mars was once like Earth – and that is what NASA are trying to find out right now.

Other than our own solar system, if we develop the ability to travel at or after than the speed of light – there are billions of other earth-like planets that we could visit and live on … (probably) – but I guess whoever lives on those planets might get a shock if I turn up!

I would probably choose Mars because it is the closest to us and the most realistic planet we might end up living at (check this cool mission: http://www.mars-one.com/)

But it was possible, I think Jupiter, with 12 moons would be a very cool planet to live in! It is also the biggest so you will never run out of places to visit!

Maybe I’m dull, but I don’t think I’d want to go and live on another planet. Not in the long term anyway, though a visit might be cool if the travel time could be cut down. I think earth is beautiful and pretty amazing. But if we could persuade a load of the idiots who keep messing things up to go and live on another planet, then that could work. (Sorry Mars!)
