Unobtanium is quite cool. I like the real elements named after people – great that heroes like Einstein have their own element…

Hmmm, probably the element Vibranium which was discovered by my favourite super hero Iron man (Tony Stark) in Iron man 2 as a replacement for palladium which was powering his suit, but also killing him.

Well as wolverine is pretty cool, i would say adamantium. Another one i can think of that’s pretty cool is kryptonite – i guess that’s my evil genius side speaking!
(did you know that there kryptonite almost exists?? well sort of – there is a mineral called jadarite that has a very similar chemical formula to kryptonite (the chemical formula is mentioned is the superman movies). Sadly there aren’t any supermen/women to test it out on!!).

I’d have to go for the most famous fictional chemical of all, Kryptonite. Seems odd that there are so many more fictional chemicals than there are fictional chemistry teachers – or perhaps I just haven’t been watching the right movies.
