• Question: What made you decide to get dirty in the mud?

      Hi Tarun,
      Good question.
      I think I like a mixture of things about my job. It allows me to be in the classroom or the laboratory at times, but it also allows me to get into the field sometimes and get my hands dirty.
      I think its important to study biology out in the real world and not be stuck in a lab all day. So I try to strike a good balance!
      Of course, there are times when it’s bucketing down with rain that I wish I was inside in a nice cozy lab 🙂
