• Question: Dp you guys preffer laptops or PC's and why?

      laptops i guess. These days they are as good as PC’s, and altho they are more expensive, i love the fact that i can take it anyway, and go do some work in a cofee shop!

      I use my laptop all the time – it’s just that I have to travel around a lot, give talks and so on, so I need something light and portable. But at work I use a PC with a big screen. I find working a lot on a small screen can be tiring on the eyes.

      Hi kelsh0003. Couldn’t live without my laptop, which is a Mac. I am answering your question on my laptop from Boston airport, waiting for a flight home – like I say, couldn’t live without it.

      May I say neither? I quite like the new tablet devices like the ipad. I can easily read papers on them without falling asleep at my desk as with my pc, and they’re great for gaming as well

      I think I prefer laptops – just because they are easier to move around and I can use them wherever I like. On the other hand, I’m using a PC right now because I’m in my office and that works better there… bigger screen, real keyboard, etc.!
