I’m an archaeometrist, which means I use scientific methods to understand archaeology. Although I use a mix of sciences I work mostly with chemistry related things.

I am a chemist and my work is carbohydrate (fancy word for sugar) chemistry. I try to make sugars similar to those in your body and investigate how they interact with your body’s proteins

I guess the short answer is radiation protection with a bit of laser physics mixed in. It involves mostly physics, biology and a little bit of chemistry – a very mixed bag!
