Question: Why have you choose to work on the insects subject ?

Hi, I have always found them facinating! They are also hugely important when you think of diseases such as Malaria. Many of the insect transmitted infections have been associated with global epidemics that have shaped human history, for example plague and its role in the Black Death. Never underestimate an insect!
