Maths comes into everything and especially scientific subjects. You need to make up chemical solutions and quantify your results which needs maths. If you try to find the answer to a scientific question, you need to mathematically demonstrate a significant difference between your test groups. If you want to map an infection or calculate how many new infections will occur from each case of an infectious disease, again you need maths. Indeed, some scientists now use mathematical models to predict the spread of infections. All very cleaver stuff!
