        Hi 628antf47,
        Well, isolated microbes are not visible by naked eye because they are too tiny for our eyes to see. Sometimes scientists grow bacteria in little plates and the bacteria grow in “colonies” (small spot of many, many concentrated bacteria) and these are visible. You can also see microbes under a microscope, which magnifies/increases the size of everything by 10 or 1000x times (or even more!).
