• Question: When do you think the supervolcano in Yellowstone will erupt, now or never?

      I don’t know. It’s a bit like ask when the asteroid will hit, or will I win the lottery this week. Maybe soon, maybe never we just have to wait and see!

      I’m going guess that the supervolcano isn’t going to erupt now but I’m no expert 🙂 The experts seem to think it might erupt in the next 1 or 2 million years so it’s probably not something that we need to worry about too much.

      Had to do a bit of reading myself for this question! It probably will eventually, but hopefully not in our life time.

      As Lindsay said experts believe that it will not erupt in the near future. Although, volcanic eruptions are very unpredictable even for experts. This year I am going to Yellowstone. So fingers crossed!! :S

      Neither “now” or “never” – I would go for “probably at some point in a far, far away future”?
