Hi Sophia. That’s a really tough question! I think my greatest achievement is probably going to university and getting a job I wanted. I knew I liked chemistry at school and once I started at university I realised that I wanted to work in the pharmaceutical industry researching new drugs. That’s basically my job now and I really enjoy it.
Hi Sophia, I’d say completing my PhD was my biggest achievement so far. I spent 3.5 years working toward one goal, and it has allowed me to get a job as a researcher.
I think that it would have to be getting my degree or being accepted onto the PhD programme I am on now. All of which took lots of hard work and I’m really happy with the results of both!
I would say, my biggest achievement was completing my PhD, since it was one of the toughest periods of my life. However, I achieved my goal and I got to work as a scientist in a great lab afterwards.
From a science point of view, my latest, biggest achievement was improving a system that allowed for better and quicker detection of a dangerous bacteria.
