I see you also like Aliens, Jodie 😉
I don’t know what to answer to that. There are shows that explore that concept a lot (‘Fringe’, ‘Star Trek’), so maybe one day time travelling will be an accessible thing to everybody? Julio Verne wrote many books about things that were impossible during his time – nonetheless, over time we manage to transform Sci-Fi into a reality. If you like this sort of things, have a look at a book called “Physics of the impossible”.
I wonder how would that be like, to travel in time… Would you change anything?

I asked a friend who works on physics and he told me time travels are possible but we would require amounts of energy comparable to thousands of atomic bombs and nowadays we don’t have the technology to gather so much energy. Moreover, according to relativity theory, for every object moving at a certain speed the time goes slower than for motionless objects, but this time travel would be of fractions of a second. We would need to move to a speed close to the speed of light to have a significant time travel. If could travel close to the speed of light for some time and then come back to the Earth, it could happen that we are still young whereas people who were the same age as us are already old.

This is all very complicated to understand and technically not possible to achieve nowadays ,but with the right technology could be done.

I don’t know but I hope so! I think the others have covered this pretty well!

I think it’s only possible to go forwards in time, at the rate of 1/60 of a minute per second 😉
