I’m not sure. Another way I could help is to help get scientific findings out there to the public, even if I wasn’t the person doing the research. For example, I used to do talked, lessons and demonstrations on how to train horses fairly using the newest findings from scientific research. Something like that I think but on a bigger scale.
If I didn’t study real animals in the field or aquarium and I had to choose another job in science I would like to study how music affects human emotions and the human brain.
I love doing research, so if I couldn’t have my job and decide which questions to study, then I would probably be a research assistant and help others do their research, particularly if they had field work that needed doing. I would also be a great project manager, and I could see myself living in remote places for long periods of time managing research projects or field sites.
If I wasn’t working specifically on this project i would like to work on reintroduction projects. At the moment i am looking at how we can ensure we are caring for animals in zoos so it would be nice to flip the coin and look at how we can work to preserve them in their wild environments as well.
Oooo a ‘what if’ question. I would want to be a professional dancer or game developer. These are my favourite hobbies. Nevertheless, the dance pieces or games created would be about animal behaviour.
