Canada! It’s such a big country and everything in it is big. And the people are so friendly too 🙂 I was on holiday there this summer and saw amazing animals right up close: we could almost touch a grey whale that came right up to our boat for a scratch. Best was seeing black bears walking along the beach looking for crabs to eat – thankfully I was safely in a boat at the time!

Can I have two? I do have two. The first one is Portugal, of course. 🙂 My parents live just outside Lisbon, towards the sea, a mere 15min walk to the beach. It’s a beautiful area and I love going to the beach and watch he sunset.
My second favourite place is South Africa. The Kalahari Desert became a second home for me, the openness of the desert, the peace and quietness as well as the simplicity of life were just perfect. The sunsets, with a chorus of barking geckos in the background, are truly magical! -

I spent three months in South Africa when I was younger and basically fell in love with the place – but I think that was as much the actual experience (working so closely with the animals) as the place itself. I also really enjoyed a trip i went on to Norway. But there is so much of the world that I haven’t see that maybe it is hard to pick a favourite!

Guatemala! It was just breath-taking views of lakes, natural freshwater rivers and the Mayan Ruins were majestic!
