My big problem is if I have any money I spend it on my horse – Annie. She’s a really good girl and she works hard to I like to get little things for her. A bag of carrots goes a long way to cheering her up!
Oh! Definitely use it to design new games and make new videos on exciting new research! The money will be used for buying game parts or paying visual designers and video-makers. 🙂
I would donate it to the St Jerome’s Children’s Home in Kenya to help them teach science to the children who live there. It was started by a teenager from the Scottish island of South Uist. She wanted to do something about the suffering that she saw there when she was on a school trip. So she came home, raised money, went back out and built an orphanage. An amazing person, it shows how much good can be done by each of us. http://stjeromescentre.org.uk/
I would give it to the refugee centre in Bristol. I looked into volunteering there as soon as I moved, but they are only open during working hours, which clashes completely with my job. I would really like to help them whichever way I can.
I don’t think i would have any spare money but if i did I would split it equally across my 7 study zoos and then donate it to their respective conservation projects (lots of zoos do what we call outreach work which is where they put money into research of or protection of animals in the wild)
