      Very! Animals can behave in ways that seem totally weird but if you look closely and are patient you’ll discover they have a good reason for doing what they do

      10 out of 10. Even when it’s raining and I’ve been sitting waiting for a bird to sing for an hour, when it does it’s like a magical surprise and I get all excited. It’s a real science and it takes lots of work but it is fun too.

      It is so much fun! I think all behaviour is fascinating – I could waste hours just watching people as well. But I think animals are so much more fun because you never know why they are doing what they are doing, or what they are going to do next. For me one of the best things I have seen was when one of the young elephants I am studying went along and started touching one of the adults who was lying down asleep. I thought aaah cute, and then she proceeded to clamber on top of the other elephant! Too cute! Worth watching hours of footage for that one moment!

      Animal behaviour is simply fascinating! It can be so varied, chaotic, even bizarre, sometimes so conspicuous other times so subtle. And it can provide us so many insights into our own behaviour.

      Absolutely fun and fascinating! We can tell a lot about why animal do certain behaviour, the effects of certain behaviour and how they are beneficial or disadvantageous. I think I have learn about about sexual behaviour by studying the chicken and the fly. The funny little things they do to try to mate!
