      If you mean patterns of song then the answer is yes and no. Some birds, like many warblers, sing a large number of whistles and tweets (song syllables) and sing them in a random order. So they do repeat themselves but not in a regular way. Other birds like great tits have a few fixed “song types” each made of a few different notes. They will sing one song a number of times before changing to another song. We think they change songs to stop listeners from getting used to the same sound and just ignoring them.
