Great question!
Aside from humans, orangutans spend the longest time with their young. They only have a single baby at a time and they stay with it for at least 7 years and sometimes longer!
Another amazing example that I just have to mention are elephants which have the longest pregnancy. Females are pregnant with their babies for 22 months, so almost 2 years!

Many animals that live in social groups– such as orcas, wolves, and elephants– will spend lots of time with their young even after the young are grown up. They’ll even help each other out as adults.
