      What a delightfully odd question!

Hiccups are only found in mammals, and are most common in infants, becoming rarer as animals age.

A hiccup is caused by air trapped in the stomach suddenly rushing into the lungs and causing the diaphragm to twitch for a bit!

My dog hiccups quite often and it always seem to take him by surprise!
