• Question: Why do cats live for 9 lives?!

      I don’t think they do. It’s a saying because cats seem to be able to get out of all sorts of scrapes and falls which would hurt other animals. Why nine? This used to be considered a lucky number with magical powers so this could be where the saying comes from. In some countries, they say a cat has seven lives.
