• Question: why are older bones harder to move around?

      Hello445aged37,

      I’m not sure they are. Older bones are, if anything, lighter as they lose some strength as we get older. unfortunately, our muscles also lose mass and strength as we age, so it’s not that the older bones are harder to move, but that we are weaker and it takes more effort to move them.

      Peter will probably have a better view on this.
