Smoking is bad for your health. That’s not an opinion, that’s a fact. there is tons of evidence that people who smoke are more likely to get heart disease, lung cancer, dementia, eye diseases and a vast range of other conditions when they get older. That’s before you think how much money it costs (my brother-in-law smokes and it costs him £50-60 per week, that’s £2,500 per year – the price of a good family holiday per year or a car over three years) , and the fact that it can stain your teeth and fingers yellow, and makes everywhere smell of smoke.

My opinion is that it’s not cool or clever. Rant over!

Well this is an easy question, thanks Lucy.

Smoking is a bad idea for your health. My dad gave up smoking 9 years ago and he still craves cigarettes so I find the most scary thing about it is the addictiveness.

Starting is a silly decision. It is very bad for your health, it is very expensive, makes you smell horrible, makes your teeth and hands yellow. There are no pros whatsoever.
My parents both smoke (my dad just occasionally now), I will never understand why.

Smoking is directly linked to lung cancer. Need I say anymore?
