Question: What do you think about the Kardashev scale and Dyson theory?

The Kardashev scale is cool and interesting, but isn’t it a bit of a guess that that is how civilisations work? Like it has some theory behind it but it is just a bit of an educated guess right? I quite like the idea that we will eventually become the intergalactic hegemonic overlord, but in reality i think we will probably get wiped out by an alien civilisation that wants our resources like water and stuff. Or maybe the aliens will come and just take our planet away with a lasso and then move their planet to where ours was, and we will float away into the void and slowly freeze…..

By Dyson Theory i assume you mean a dyson sphere…in which case it is a very cool idea, but whether it is something that actually happens in the Universe somewhere i’m not sure. I guess if you subscribe to the belief that we live in an infinite multiverse then yes, it is happening. I like the infinite multiverse hypothesis so yes dyson spheres are happening!!
