It all depends on the lab, some labs you need to do more work in than others. But generally we take the rubbish out and dispose of all the nasty chemicals and dangerous things. If something breaks we try and fix it, and if we can’t or dont know how to then we get someone to come in who can. We do a lot of health and safety to make sure no one hurts themselves in the lab, and we do inductions so people new to the lab know how to use it safely. We also do a lot of ordering, the lab uses a lot of materials so we make sure they dont run out by ordering new things.
