      All the equipment I use technically belongs to the hospital. My research gets money from a few different places that I can use to buy things I need (just for research though).

      I have never made a robot from scratch but I would love to! The robots I use come from a company called Laerdal and they are customisable so I get them to do exactly what I want. I can take them to pieces and put them back together but I don’t know how the programming or electronics work specifically.

      My colleagues built a basic CPR robot a few years ago so it could be made from basic parts that even very poor countries would have. That one was made from a toy doll, a plastic bag, some springs, and some cogs!!! It worked very well for practicing baby CPR.
