It depends. There are some interesting trends, that have you asking more questions. These are my favourite, but ultimately, you should have a good idea of what questions you are trying to answer before you start looking at data.
If you just randomly analyse data you can identify all kinds of relationships that may not be true, especially when you have large data as most things will then be significant.
We also need to be careful about the outcome of what we are doing, lots of ethical conundrums.
