• Question: what came first chicken or the egg

      Great question! The technical answer is the egg, because reptiles lay eggs, and from an evolutionary point of view they are much older than chickens.

      If the question is whether chickens of chicken eggs came first, then I think the answer must be the chicken – there could have been ancient forms of chicken that could reproduce without making eggs as we think of them today.
