• Question: If vitamin A didnt exist would scarvy be common?

      Hi @natrualme,

      Scurvy is actually caused by a lack of vitamin C which is important for maintaining bone strength. However if we don’t get enough vitamin A, our immune systems become defective, and in developing countries vitamin A deficiency is a common cause of night blindness.
