• Question: You talked about all our energy coming from other resources other then Coal by 2050, What of the energy created by steam locomotives? Nothing as yet can burn and generate enough heat, then Coal to make them work.

      You’re right in that steam locomotives are fueled mainly by burning coal/coke to produce steam in a boiler. But most trains/locomotives in this century are now electric or diesel powered.
