      The Ri Christmas Lectures were a great deal of work to put together involving me, the Ri team, Windfall Films team and the BBC. They were challenging to do because of live lecture and filming aspect and the number of visual demos – but lots of fun too.

      I had a quick look at my diary. Tom Cook (the producer at Windfall Films) and I started discussing ideas and themes for the three lectures in September 2016. From about mid-October onwards it got more intense in writing detailed scripts and sorting out demos and guests for rehearsals/filming in mid-December.
