Speaking for myself I’m really not all that good! But it’s always about deciding what you enjoy and feel motivated by and can honestly say you could happily do this for the rest of your life. The rest comes very easily, it’s very easy to be successful at something you love because you have a very personal reason to be doing it.
You don’t have to be great at everything and it’s very important to know that some people wouldn’t be too interested in science and so don’t think scientists are all that good! It’s just about finding your lane in life and what makes you tick and then yes, everyone can be very good

I know lots of people that are much better than me, so most definitely. In engineering, it’s important to all work together as a team, so you want people who are good at different things in that team.

I try to surround myself with people who are good at things I’m rubbish at so that they can help me out, and I can help them out with the things I am good at!
