Olives, as I grew up in Greece where they are literally everywhere.
They are sturdy plants: they can grow pretty much on any surface (even rocky ground), can withstand extreme cold and heat, and have lifespans ranging in millenia.
Their very existence can be seen as a testament of nature’s tenacity, even against human pollution and climate change.

A Love Plant (Oxalis triangularis), also known as a Purple Shamrock. It has purple leaves which close up at night.

Trees! Any tree, anywhere – they always improve my mood and I love going for walks in the countryside through woodlands and other areas with lots of trees.

I think the pineapple plant has got to be the coolest. Or have you ever seen where cashew nuts come from? No wonder they are expensive….
