I don’t know much about astronomy, so I barely know anything about black holes. I looked up “what happens if someone got sucked up in a black hole’ and I found out that it’s still one of the big mysteries in the universe. No one really knows where does mass go when it gets sucked into a black hole. Since no one knows the answer to this question, I guess an alternate universe is just as good of an idea as any?
I’m not a physicist, but I’m fairly sure that we haven’t been sucked into a black hole! Also, black holes are not really holes – they’re formed from supermassive stars which have such a strong gravitational pull that they collapse in on themselves, crushing all their mass into an infinitesimally small point, or singularity, where the volume is zero and the density is infinite. Sounds like it breaks science, right? If you were sucked into a black hole, you probably wouldn’t be transported anywhere… You would just be crushed into nothingness!
No, although that would be cool! If you’re sucked into a black hole, the enormous force of gravity causes solid objects to become ‘spaghettified’ (actual scientific term!) – which means the gravity would pull so hard and fast you’d be unravelled into a string.
