Darmstadtium Zone

The element Darmstadtium was first created in 1994 at the Institute for Heavy Ion Research in Darmstadt, Germany, the city from which it takes its name, by the same research group that also discovered meitnerium and roentgenium.

In this general science zone you’ll meet scientists working in a range of fields.
